Canadian rock band April Wine is returning to the Burton Cummings Theatre Saturday, March 13, 2027. Formed in 1969 and originally based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, April Wine rose to international success in the 1970s and 1980s, selling more than 20 million albums worldwide.
April Wine’s extensive discography includes numerous gold and platinum-selling albums and hits including “Roller,” “I Like to Rock,” “You Could Have Been a Lady,” and “Just Between You and Me.” The latter became an international top 40 hit and made April Wine the first Canadian band to appear on MTV. The band has also received 11 Juno Award nominations throughout its career.
Fresh off their return to Winnipeg as special guests to Triumph at Canada Life Centre in May, Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees April Wine return to the city for a headline performance featuring more than five decades of Canadian rock classics.
Tickets to see April Wine at the Burt are on sale Friday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m.
