Kerry King brings the North American 2025 Tour to the Burt on January 15, 2025! Following his recent tour with Lamb of God and Mastodon and his first European headline tour earlier this year, Kerry King and his new band – drummer Paul Bostaph (Slayer), bassist Kyle Sanders (HELLYEAH), guitarist Phil
Demmel (Machine Head), and vocalist Mark Osegueda (Death Angel) – will hit the road for the
twenty-eight date “North American Headline Tour 2025.”
Acclaimed comedian Gerry Dee announced that he’ll embark on a new standup comedy tour across Canada throughout 2025. Gerry will debut all new material full of stories and observations from how he sees the world.

Just in time for director Brian De Palma’s cult musical Phantom of the Paradise’s 50th anniversary, see the award-winning documentary “Phantom of Winnipeg”, about Winnipeg’s love affair with the iconic film. Directed by acclaimed Canadian documentary filmmaker Malcolm Ingram, this prairie portrait is a loving examination of a town, a film and an obsession. The film features candid interviews with local Phans, original cast members like star/composer Paul Williams, and longtime Canada fan and director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Red State).
Kevin Smith will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening. Hosted by one of the stars of “Phantom of the Paradise (and “Phantom of Winnipeg”), actor Peter Elbling, join us for a night of thrills, chills and homegrown hilarity!

In the lore of heavy metal, only a handful of artists can claim to have changed history, and even fewer can say they’ve done so twice. Enter Apocalyptica, and one of metal’s greatest, most unlikely success stories. By any account, it’s the stuff of legend, and it’s about to come full circle as Apocalyptica announces their “Apocalyptica Plays Metallica Vol. 2 Tour.”
Formed in 1993 at the world-renowned Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, Apocalyptica began as a loving, lo-fi nod to Metallica from four classically trained musicians. Their debut album, Plays Metallica By Four Cellos, released in 1996, was a game-changer. As founding band leader Eicca Toppinen explains, “We just loved Metallica and we wanted to play it with the instruments we were able to play, which just happened to be cellos. We played a metal club in Helsinki, and then we were asked to do an album. Five months after it was released, we were opening for Metallica. It’s still unbelievable to me.”
Fast forward to today, and Apocalyptica has released eight rapturously received records, sold six million albums, and toured relentlessly. Now, they continue their unique homage to Metallica with Plays Metallica, Vol. 2, featuring powerful collaborations with Metallica members and using original tracks from the legendary Cliff Burton.
