Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and understanding as it relates to True North’s Health & Wellness Principles and the safety of our guest’s and our larger community.
In light of the recent changes to provincial health orders, please be advised of the following updates to True North’s Health & Wellness Principles for the Burton Cummings Theatre.

  • Effective May 2, True North Sports + Entertainment no longer requires guests to show proof of vaccination to attend events at any of its venues.
  • The Burton Cummings Theatre is a Mask-Friendly Venue for all events where mask use by guests will not be required but strongly encouraged.

A detailed ‘Know Before You Go’ (KBYG) communication will be issued to all ticket holders 1-2 days prior to each event date. Please be sure to review the email carefully for the most updated information regarding your event. For more information or questions, please email us at

True North Sports + Entertainment reserves the right to change or modify information and operations to reflect the Manitoba Public Health orders, recommendations, or other evolving circumstances. Guests are encouraged to check back regularly for updates.

  • The Burton Cummings Theatre is a Mask-Friendly Venue for all events where mask use by guests is not required but strongly encouraged.
  • Mask-Friendly is intended to provide a welcoming, safe and respectful experience at our venues.


No Bag Policy

  • For your safety and expedited entry into the Burton Cummings Theatre, bags are restricted to those that do not exceed 16”x16”x8”, which may undergo contactless screening. Bags must fit under the seat and not impede walkways and access to the seats.
  • Oversized bags are not permitted into the theatre. An on-site bag check is available for $5.00.
